La Ventana - El Salvador’s English Pub

The English-style pub La Ventana, is one of my favorite places to hang out in San Salvador. Located on Calle San Antonio in the Boulevard de los Heroes area, near the National University, it is more of an up-scale hangout place.

They have a nice set-up, with good music, art and food. I like it because it provides some variety to the typical Salvadoran fare served up at most restaurants. As regards the alcohol, ElS1they offer a greater variety in that sense as well, pouring tall glasses of Belgian ales and German beers to keep us gringos happy. They also have a pool table, if you’re up for some billiards, and they are open late on the weekends.

This guy’s name is Paolo, you can most often find him at La Ventana serving up the good stuff.
