Before you reach the Jaltepeque estuary, you will find Atlantis water park, the first and biggest water park in El Salvador, located at kilometer 51 on the road to Costa del Sol in La Libertad.
Atlantis has a giant wave pool and a number of waterslides. It is really easy to get to as well, and is probably the most popular water park in El Salvador
for that reason.
Other water parks in El Salvador include Galacia, which is in Sonsonate and boasts the largest water slide in El Salvador. Also located near Galacia are the Termos del Rio, which are thermal pools, pools, and slides for the whole family to enjoy! Entrance to the Termos del Rio is only $2.00 for kids and $5.00 for adults.
Las Veraneras is another water park in the Sonsonate area, in Salinitas. There are a number of slides, pools and hot tubs, and there is also access to the beach. Decameron is the other “water park” in the area, but it is more a hotel resort than a water park, but has some great nighttime entertainment and beautiful pools, as well as access to the beach.
