Hotel Perkin Lenca in Perquin

There aren’t many places to stay in Perquin, your best, and possibly only option is the Hotel Perkin Lenca which is on the Hotel Perkin Lenca, Kilometer 205.5.

Hotel Perkin Lenca hosts a number of mountain cabins which run about $50 for double occupancy. Each cabin is accessed by means of its own foot path, Perkin lencamaking them quite private. Breakfast is included for all staying in the room. If you are traveling with a group ask about special group rates.

The ceilings are high, cabins are wooden, and nestled into the woods it is a great place to enjoy the beautiful mountain region.

Hotel Perkin Lenca has a delicious restaurant, Cocina de Ma’ Anita (Mama Anna’s Kitchen). Food are prepared fresh, and many of the vegetables are actually grown right there in the hotel’s organic garden.

The best part however, might be the fresh coffee grown right in the mountain region. It is 100% organic, hand processed and roasted by hand over wood coals. Well worth trying, and you may even decide you want to take some back with you. The homemade raspberry ice cream is also a must-have.

Hotel Perkin Lenca is the perfect place to base your travels through the Morazan mountain region, a part of El Salvador that is not to be missed.
