The Area Natural Protegida Rio Sapo is home to the cleanest river in El Salvador, the Rio Sapo. It is located Southeast of Perquin, and spans an area of about 14,826 acres.

The Multi Plaza Mall in San Salvador is located on Blvd. de los Heroes and is the largest mall in Central America, boasting over 400 stores, restaurants and a multiplex theater.
