In the small mountainside town of Apaneca the place to stay is El Jardin de Celeste. The small little lodge has 10 cabins that are surrounded by gardens and a pleasant little hammock area where you can laze away an afternoon.

The restaurant at Hotel Torre Molinos on the shore of Lake Quatepeque is one of the best places to spend an evening enjoying a meal with friends. Don’t come here for the fast service; they take things easy on this side of town. The meal is to be enjoyed to the full, so come here for a true dining experience.
